Goa Police on Wednesday arrested two Russian nationals for allegedly running a prostitution racket and rescued three Russian women from Anjuna.

According to police, the accused- Aleksandrovic Morozli (36) and Vasiliy Karavaev (44)- were arrested during a raid with a help of a fake customer.

Police said that further investigation is under process and the accused were booked under relevant sections of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act. The victims were sent to a protective home near Panaji, police added.
