Panaji (Goa) The proposed Greenfield International Airport at Mopa will be now part of planning and development authority.

The town and country planning board has recommended formation of Mopa PDA, in a bid to fast track the work of the second international airport, which is being built by GMR Airport.

Total 81.29 lakh sq mtrs of area will be brought under planning.  

The GMR airport has already commenced the work of the airport at the site and the international airport is expected to be ready for its first flight by mid-2020.
