Panaji (Goa) A video showing a group of people including a woman throwing black colour liquor on social activist and lawyer Aires Rodrigues has become viral. The activist is seen running for a shelter in the video, which was apparently shot in his office at Ribandar.

The video which does not carry any date shows a woman and another man arguing with Rodrigues over the alleged posting of her picture by him on Facebook. The 14-minute-video also shows Rodrigues claiming that one Milton had asked him to post the picture. The social activist is also seen claiming that he would address the press conference to clarify his stand and expose the people behind it.

The video ends with sudden throwing of black substance looking like a paint on Rodrigues and the social activist running for the shelter. He is later seen entering a shop to save himself from the further attack.

The Neutral View could not verify the authenticity of the video but the string of messages posted by Rodrigues has confirmed the attack on him.

“The very cocky Fisheries minister Vinod Paliencar through his goons will never be able to intimidate me. Goa and the entire Siolim in particular know the whole truth,” Rodrigues said in the whatsapp message.

Rodrigues has said that he had decided not to file a complaint against those goons of Fisheries minister Vinod Paliencar who very high handedly in a very drunken state barged into my office.
