Panaji (Goa) The Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) today launched first-of-it-kind web application called e-Sewa, to ensure speedy and time bound maintenance and renovation services at the government hospitals and schools, entrusted with them.
On trial basis, the facility is launched at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), client department can lodge service request 24×7 either through desktop or mobile.
The facility will be extended to 11 government hospitals and 350 schools in coming two months, GSIDC vice chairman Siddharat Kuncolienkar told reporters.
He said that the corporation has been entrusted with maintenance and renovation of government hospitals and schools in all 12 talukas.
“We have launched e-Sewa, for the first time in the State, to monitor the service requests made by hospitals and schools,” he said.
Once the service request is lodged by the client department it would be communicated to the contractor on board, within 15 seconds and will be attended by the contractor within 24 hours, depending upon the kind of complaints.
