Panaji (Goa) As the cyclonic storm Ockhi continue to remain active over Lakshadweep and expected to pass through Goa on Monday, the IMD has warned fishermen from venturing into sea for next 48 hours.

The fishermen, who are already into deep sea, are asked to return as soon as possible.

Goa IMD Director ML Sahu said that though the cyclone will pass through Goa on Monday, it will be far off from the coast having no impact.

“Goa will have no impact of the cyclone,” he said.

IMD predicts light to moderate rains with possible cloudy weather on Monday.
