Panaji (Goa): Secretary Environment IAS Daulat Hawaldar will hold the additional charge as Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) as temporary arrangement till the full-fledged chairman takes over.

 Ganesh Shetgaonkar, resident of Mumbai, is shortlisted as the new chairman of GSPCB, who is likely to take over charge this month end.

The post of Chairman is been vacant since March 2016 after former chairman Jose Manual Noronha was transferred as chairman of the Goa Public Service Commission.

Chief Secretary was holding the charge since then.
