On an action-packed day, Suresh Raj Priyesh (Tamil Nadu), Shantesh Mapsekar (Goa), Ankur Bhatarcharya (West Bengal) and Arnav Aggarval (P.S.P.B A), who are the top 4 India ranked players in cadets boys category, won their respective league matches with ease and are in cruise control to qualify for the main draw. The top seeds in Cadet Girls, Suhana Saini (Haryana), Pitha Vartkar (Maharashtra A), Nehal Venkataswamy (Tamil Nadu) and Arya Sangodkar (Maharashtra A), also had easy outings to more or less ensure their place in the Main Draws.
