Panaji (Goa) The State Legislative Assembly’s decision to on online has given environmentalists a reason to smile.

The assembly which has gone paperless in 2014, has claimed to have saved 9.12 crore sheets of paper which amounts to 10,954 trees and Rs 11,58,63,000.

The winter session of the State Legislative Assembly will conclude today evening.

Almost 100 percent of the questions are received online and replied online.
