Panaji (Goa) On the day when BJP retained power in Gujarat, chief minister Manohar Parrikar  congratulated his Gujarat counterpart Vijay Rupani for winning the election.

Parrikar took on the twitter to congratulate Rupani, soon after the results were out which saw BJP emerging as a winner.

“Congratulations to CM @vijayrupanibjp for an impressive victory in Rajkot West,” said the chief minister, who was busy in the morning attending ongoing State Legislative assembly session at Porvorim, near Panaji.

Rupani has won against Congress’ Indranil Rajyaguru from the Rajkot West constituency, which he is representing here.
