Panaji (Goa) On the occasion of Opinion Poll Day January 16, Chief Minister Manhoar Parrikar has urged Goans to vow to keep the State’s individuality, serenity and peace alive.

Parrikar has extended his warm wishes to the people of Goa on the occasion of Opinion Poll Day. Government will be celebrating the day as ‘Asmitai Dis’.

The Chief Minister in his message has said that it is due to this landmark day, this tiny state could achieve statehood years later. “Thanks to our leaders, who were decisive and far-sighted; it is due to their hard work and perseverance, we could retain our unique identity,” he said.

 “On this day, let us vow to keep our individuality, serenity and peace alive. Let us come together and make Goa more beautiful and serene,” Parrikar said.
