Panaji (Goa): After multiplexes in Goa preferred to stay away from a screening of controversial ‘Padmavat’ movie on the first two days of its release, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said that the movie is not banned in Goa.

“If someone is not showing, why should government intervene? It is already been shown on small screens in two theatres in Vasco and Ponda, “ Parrikar said.

“This itself shows that the movie is not banned in Goa,” he added.

Meanwhile, the INOX Panaji Goa will begin the screening of the movie from today afternoon onwards, with the first show being scheduled at 2.01 pm on the website.

There are total seven shows that will be screened today.
