 Two-days after Union Minister Arun Jaitley announced the Union Budget 2018-19, the BJP Goa unit has termed the Budget as “historic”.

Addressing a press conference today afternoon, BJP South Goa Member of Parliament (MP) Adv Narendra Sawaikar said that the Budget is being celebrated by people across the country.

“The Union Budget is a historic budget. It is being welcomed across all sections of society,” he said.

Adv Sawaikar said that the Budget has taken care of every sector, while the focus has been agriculture and farmer.

The Union Budget was tabled in Parliament on February 1.
