GOA: CHIEF MINISTER FALLS ILL; FLIES TO MUMBAI FOR TREATMENT

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar took ill and was treated in Goa medical college and hospital om Wednesday evening. 

Following advice from doctor, chief minister today flown to Mumbai for his furthrr check up.

Chief ministers’s office confirmed that Parrikar was taken to the hospital late last night after he complained of stomach ache, probably due to food poisoning.

“He went home after the initial check and again came to the hospital this morning for a check up. His health is better now but has been referred to a hospital in Mumbai for further check up,” a senior CMO official stated.

Parrikar is likely to return on Sunday back in the state, as the budget session will begin from Monday.
