As a part of AAI’s efforts to add new facilities to improve overall efficiency of airport operations for the benefit of passengers and all the stakeholders working at Goa airport, the chairman of Airport’s Authority of India, Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra (IAS), inaugurated the Airport Operations Control Centre/AOCC on Friday, February 16.
With the commissioning of AOCC, Goa airport will become the 12th airport out of 125 airports in the country being managed by Airports Authority of India where AOCC will be available.
According to the press release issued, AOCC will enable airline operators, ground handling agencies and Airport Authority of India to ensure optimum utilisation of resources.
