PMO MONITORING CHIEF MINISTER TREATMENT

Panaji (Goa) Deputy Speaker Michael Lobo today said that Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) is monitoring the medical treatment of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who is currently admitted at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai.

Lobo said that the PMO is monitoring the health condition of Chief Minister and ensuring speedy recovery.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chief Minister on Sunday evening.

“Chief Minister is stable and recovering,” Lobo said.

Parrikar was admitted to Lilavati hospital on February 15 after taking initial treatment for food poisoning at Goa medical college and Hospital (GMC). He was later diagnosed with pancreatitis ailment.

Earlier Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly Dr Pramod Sawant told House that Chief Minister is currently undergoing treatment at Lilavati and that his condition is improving.
