When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?

I won the sub-contest Mr. Photogenic in Mr. Punjab 2013, and since then I developed a passion for modeling. After my graduation, I started working for Amazon but gradually I figured out that modelling, drama and acting excites me more, so I decided to quit my job and make it big in showbiz.

Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?

Modelling is not just walking the ramp or getting your pictures clicked. It’s about understanding and improvising modelling skills and taking it to a whole new level. Modelling might not be a stable career but I am passionately driven towards this than a mundane 9 to 5 desk job, which has always been my plan B. In a nutshell, “I always focus on winning big rather than loosing small”.

Tell me about your first assignment. If any how did it happen? What was the experience like (make this answer as personal as possible)?

What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?

I have been biologically blessed with a great face, which I present on a very well worked out and a stunning chizz led body that I present on the ramp with a tinge of attitude.

I very well make sure that the attitude stays on the ramp and not off it.

Why Rubaru Mr. India when there is so many local pageants happen?

Rubaru Mr. India is a pageant, which will give me the platform to foray into the fields where I dream to go and to showcase my talent in front of the right people who values it.

Most importantly, I’ll get a chance to be the face of India and to represent India internationally, which is something I have always dreamt of.

Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?

I have been preparing for this for a long time and it took me 1 year and 32 kgs to reach where I am standing today, compiled with endless hours of training. When I win this title as Mr. India 2018, whatever great or trivial position I achieve in later life, I’ll always be Mr. India 2018 and that is something, which will remain with me and will be cherished for the rest of my life.

Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?

I have invested time, efforts and tiring hours of training because there is no substitute to hard work and to be Mr. India you have to be physically, mentally and emotionally fit.

I focused on boosting my confidence, general awareness and keeping my body healthy and fit followed by proper and balanced diet.

The challenges were to club daily chores with the training and preparation for the pageant.

What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?

The title of Mr. India is a great responsibility as the onus of representing India on a global platform is carried on your sturdy shoulders and I firmly believe I possess the patience and confidence to be the fashion ambassador of India. I have great body and face clubbed with an intellectual and witty mind.

How will winning the Mr. India pageant will be going to affect your life?

After winning Rubaru Mr. India, my life will be changed completely. This title will give a lot of exposure and recognition. Moreover, there will be other added responsibilities towards people and society as well.

Winning this prestigious title will give me a lot of confidence, faith and hope to do a lot in my life and for others too.

What are your views and thoughts for cause camping of save girl child how you will educate to stop this in our country?

Everybody is well aware about what happens to a girl child in smaller districts of our country. I will not get into statistics because it’s depressing.

Female Foeticide is one of such grave social problems arising out of the so-called “Traditional thoughts” of our society where people think girls are burden.

But I believe, “There is no he without she.”

We all have heard about the problem, we all know the problem.

We as humans, have no right to bring a life to an end. The law of nature does not allow us to know whether there is a boy or a girl in the womb of any mother so that there remains a well-established balance between the nurturer and the provider. When we kill the nurturer, we create an imbalance for which we will regret for generations to come. Due to this, life will also cease to exist sooner than we can think.

Generally, people get scared when they think of changing their orthodox thoughts because there are so many people out there committing these things in mammoth proportion. However, people needs to realize that instead of worrying or focusing on changing the entire world, they need to focus on changing just one thought. The entire world will be changed eventually. You just make one family realize that they are truly blessed not only because they have girl child, but also a womb of universe, she’ll then nurture the life beyond.
