When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?

I began my modeling career in December 2015. I was scouted by a coordinator in my college. My first modeling was a print campaign for a clothing brand.

Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?

It was my passion from childhood to become a model. I wanted to be an inspiration to others; alike others were to me, while I was growing up.

Tell me about your first assignment. If any how did it happen? What was the experience like (make this answer as personal as possible)

Well, it was all of a sudden project. I was in the 2nd year of my studies and though modeling was my childhood passion, I had planned to pursue it after college. But fate had other plans and I was scouted all of a sudden and within couple of days, we were shooting for a newly launched clothing brand. The shoot took place at waterfalls outside Chennai and at the beach. Till this day, I cherish the memories of that day, it was fun. It made me change my plans and go ahead into modeling full time.

What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to other s?

It is my confidence and the way that I carry myself in front of the camera. Face or body does not matter that much but what really does matter is how you bring life to the concept.

Why Rubaru Mr. India when there are so many local pageants that happen?

I want to represent my country internationally and make my country proud! That is my very reason for being part of Rubaru Mr. India.

Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?

Nope, I have been preparing for two years to take part in Mr. India and represent my country.

Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?

To be frank I don’t call it as training anymore I call it as my lifestyle, the lifestyle of being fit, looking good, being attractive inside and also outside! For fitness; you need utmost dedication and consistency, for looking good; you need to eat healthy, use proper skin care, hair products, so for example (petroleum less product for hair). And also I think, you should know how to groom yourself, how to do your own hairstyle and own make up! And finally always being a gentleman!!

What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?

I believe I’ve what it takes to be the next Rubaru Mr. India, i.e. Confidence, Dedication and Humbleness. Also, I take it as a huge responsibility and pride to represent my country internationally and also spread the essence of India to every corner of the world.

How will winning the Mr. India pageant will be going to affect your life?

It’s not just about my life, winning the Mr. India pageant will help me carry the message of India globally also spread awareness about a wide range of causes. I like to inspire other youngsters to dream and work hard to achieve their goals.

What are your views and thoughts for cause camping of saving girl child and how you will educate to stop this in our country?

Every child is born equal and has a fundamental right to live their life. I believe it is the duty of every individual to save a girl child. I will spread awareness about the importance to save girl child and educate everyone about how all are equal.
