When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?
I was interested in modelling since 10th but I wanted to complete my studies and then get into it. So while I was completing my mechanical engineering, I also worked on myself. And after completing engineering, now I am totally into modelling.
Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?
I have a mechanical engineering degree but into my mind it was always modelling & I feel you should always do what you are passionate about rather than seeking a permanent job.
Tell me about your first assignment. If any, how did it happen? What was the experience like (make this answer as personal as possible)
First assignment was a print shoot for Halftone brand. It was completely a new experience and after that I also did a print shoot for upcoming brand named Zingfiniti.
What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?
Every face has got beauty & it is not always about body. Only thing that makes you different is your attitude, down to earth and friendly nature. And I feel I got that in me. Rest depends on how the opposite person perceives me.
Why Rubaru Mr. India when there are so many local pageants that happen?
The answer is in the question itself.
While your goal is to represent INDIA🇮🇳 in front of other countries and make it proud,
You definitely won’t compromise with a local pageant. Also, a local pageant won’t get you to that position where you want to take your country, as RUBARU will.
Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?
It’s both. I was preparing to take part in the pageant & it happens to come along my way.
Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?
No matter what time I sleep.
I will wake up at 8:40 am, prepare my breakfast and be at the gym by 9:40. I workout daily and keep a clean diet to keep myself fit but I do cheat a meal on Sunday to be honest. The biggest challenge for me is to make my own food on daily basis.
What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?
Everyone feels they should be the winner, even I do.
The difference in me can be seen by the judges and the people around.
But the reason I should be the chosen one is to make the country proud by getting as many titles as I can.
How will winning the Mr. India pageant will be going to affect your life?
Winning wont affect my life, because I will be staying the same person even with the title or without it.
But winning will help me reach my goal of making India proud.
What are your views and thoughts for cause camping of save girl child how you will educate to stop this in our country?
Literacy plays a bigger role in this. Until people are educated you can’t do anything. For people who are illiterate, it is very difficult to make them understand. They won’t leave behind their SAMAAJ, so called PRATHA and other stuff. They’ll stick to it & they think they are always right no matter how much you make them understand. They still live in 1900’s even in 2018 where we are so ahead.
Modi govt. is focusing on education & till whole country is educated, the ratio will still be high.
We should create awareness through social media, radios, movies, hoardings etc.
Akshay Kumar films have made a very good impact on people not only in case of save girl child but also other important things that are needed for people to understand.
JAHA LOGON KO TOILET JANEKE LIYE TV PE SAMJHANA PADTA HAI, TOH SOCHO UNHE SAVE GIRL CHILD AUR BAKI CHIZE SAMJHANA KITNA MUSHKIL HOGA.
