When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?

I’m doing my final year graduation from Kirorimal College (Du). I am doing modelling albeit studying. And as I am in my final year graduation, I am not yet working.

Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?

Any career can be stable provided you work hard and stay focused. I have always had this zeal to carry or present myself in the best way possible and I think that is exactly what modelling is all about.

Tell me about your first assignment. If any, how did it happen? What was the experience like (make this answer as personal as possible)

I’m a fresher, so waiting for my assignment.

What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?

You can sense the aroma of rural India in me. I was born in Uttar Pradesh and brought up in a small town there. You can see the blend of the modernization and desi decorum in the he way I carry myself and the positive attitude of mine is what makes me different any given day. And of course, my body is my greatest asset.

Why Rubaru Mr. India when there are so many local pageants that happen?

I have heard about Mr. India Rubaru from a lot of friends and also I came across it through social media.

Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?

Earlier too, I was preparing for pageants but then I fixed my focus on Mr. India Rubaru.

Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?

Modelling is something about confidence and your attitude. And I have a really good combination of both. Physical attributes too matter and I have worked hard on them to create a good position for myself. Challenges are many, like as being a student it is always tough to keep a balance between studies and other things, so this is one of the challenges I can say. And of course, it is the fact that it takes a lot of expenses on working on yourself (your physique, self grooming and all). So yes, also for me, this has been the greatest challenge because of some family financial problems.

What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?

Modelling is something about confidence and your attitude and I have a really good combination of both. Physical attributes matter too and I have worked hard on them to create a good position for myself.

How will winning the Mr. India pageant will be going to affect your life?

I think the first thing is, I want to make my mom proud. Then, one day I want to make my country proud and want to represent my country internationally as that has always been my dream.

And all of that will only be possible if I win this Mr. India pageant because this is how you start climbing up step by step.

Mr. India Rubaru itself is a big name and after winning this, I will be more confident and it will take me to a better position, of course for which we all are struggling for.

What are your view an thought for cause camping of save girl child how you will educated to stop this in our country?

We have really progressed since a decade on the issue of the girl child’s education and women empowerment. All we need to do is spread more awareness and put forth examples of successful women. I personally wish to join a NGO that has been working on this burning issue and travel to rural parts of our country where I can hold interactive sessions with the people to educate them and while at it, also make them realize the importance of a girl child.
