When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?

I’ve never done professional modelling as of yet. I just like getting pictures clicked for my Instagram and other social media profiles.

Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?

I have always been curious about modelling industry and I really enjoy networking. So for me it’s a great way to showcase what I really am.

Tell me about your first assignment. If any, how did it happen? What was the experience like (make this answer as personal as possible)

I have never done any professional assignment. But I am looking forward to do some in the near future.

What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?

I believe, I have the right attitude, looks and the body to be a successful model.

Why Rubaru Mr. India when there are so many local pageants that happen?

I feel this is a great platform to showcase my talent. And I have never really thought about the local pageants yet.

Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?

Actually I just happened to apply for Mr. India as I was recommended by one of the ex Mr. India contestant to apply for it. I wasn’t preparing for anything but I am definitely glad that I did.

Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?

I used to be an athlete during my school and college days, so I have always been fit whole my life. My nutrition and my diet changes according to the kind of physique I am aiming at. For me, keeping body fit is a lifestyle, so I never really had to make major changes about my training.

What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?

I believe I have the right attitude and the looks to be the chosen one. I don’t have any experience in modelling but I am determined to work at random schedules. So I believe I should be the one.

How will winning the Mr. India pageant will be going to affect your life?

I believe that winning Mr. India pageant will drastically change my life. It will help me gain a lot of exposure and visibility. I would be known by a lot of people and it would also help in increasing my confidence and faith with the knowing that I am the winner.

What are your views and thoughts for the cause camping of save girl child, how you will educate to stop this in our country?

I believe that cause camping has helped a lot in bringing about the awareness of saving the girl child. “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” social campaign has really helped to generate awareness and improve efficiency of welfare services for the girls. According to me, in order to make sure that it is implemented properly, we need to improve the education system for both genders, we need to empower women more. Women should be given equal access and opportunities in any field.
