“The recent statement by Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai that state is going through emergency like situation is true disclosure of the affairs which Goa is currently going through. In absence of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, the State is left headless and deserves to be ruled by President of India through his emissaries,” said Goa Shiv Sena spokesperson Rakhi Prabhudesai Naik.
She further said that it would not have been a problem if the state was facing normal circumstances. But the state is left headless when it is facing the closure of the mining industry and there is no one to speak for the interest of the people dependent on this industry.
“Racing against the time, the people dependent on mining industry are trying their level best to get the required attention but they are only served with the fake promises and melodramas of delegations going to Delhi,” added Rakhi.
Speaking to the media persons she also said that, “there is no solution provided to their problems and certainly, under the current situation, we can’t expect the solution to come from three-member Cabinet Advisory Committee which is least bothered about the people,”
“Sena demands that the state should be forced to have President’s Rule so that at least centre can take over and provide some relief to the people dependent on the mining industry. People cannot depend on BJP leaders for any solution as they are left inefficient in absence of Parrikar,” concluded Rakhi.
