The mining dependents protest has turned aggressive with police now resorting to lathicharge.
Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, Minister Vijay sardesaai, Minister Jayesh Salgaonkar and curchorem BJP MLA Nilesh Cabral tried to pacify the agitators, who were hell bent not to move out.
The entire traffic movement from North to South of the City has been paralysed since 11am.
AS the protestors were not ready to vacate the site-Kranti circle near KTC Bus stand, police resorted to lathicharge following order from North district collector.
BJP MLA Nilesh Cabral was one amongst those who were injured.
