Nearly thousand odd students were stuck in the traffic block for almost two hours, as the mining protestors decline to clear off the road.
Students from Cujira school complex, Panaji city and Porvorim were stuck in traffic on their way home after school hours. Their parents were also stranded.
The HSSC students who went to answer their exams will also victims of the traffic jam.
The vehicular moment started as police resort to lathicharge to clear the traffic.
Frustrated Students, parents and teachers blamed protestors for taking entire city and people for ride. They also blamed police for failing to control the situation.
