GOA: GOVT SYMPATHETIC TOWARDS MINING DEPENDENT; MINING SHOULD START- LOBO

Deputy speaker Micheal Lobo today said that government is sympathetic towards the demand of mining dependents and wants the iron ore activities to resume immediately.
 
Speaking to reporters at the agitating site, Lobo said that during the meeting with Union minister Nitin Gadkari, government will put up that the mining activities in the State should start immediately. 
 
“Our only one demand before Gadkariji would be that mining should immediate started. We are sympathetic towards mining dependents as mining has been their livelihood for last so many years,” Lobo said
 
“Mining dependents should be protected at any cost and government of the day is committed towards it,” he said.
 
Lobo said that auction process can be adopted at the later stage. 
 
Commenting on lathicharge, BJP MLA said that people’s livelihood is affected and it was obvious for them to come on road. 
 
” Ireached late..I was full in traffic for three hours. we have to see both side ..when it come to their stomach they come on street. As GOVT of the day we have to protect them but at the same time highway cannot be paralysed,” he said.
