GADKARI BEGINS MEETING WITH MINING STAKEHOLDERS

PANAJI(GOA) Series of meetings between Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and the mining stakeholders are underway. 
 
The meeting is also attended by cabinet advisory committee member Sudin Dhavalikar, Vijay Sardesaai and Francis D’souza. 
 
Goa Mineral Ore Exporters Association were the first to meet Gadkari. The association has demanded that the solution be worked out keeping in view the recent Supreme Court judgment and the provisions of MMDR act.
 
” we have requested that the solution be such that there are no more hindrance in the way of mining resumption,” association president ANBAR Timblo told reporters. 
 
Truck owners, barge owners, machinery operators, panchayat members are amongst those who will be representing Gadkari.
