Panaji (Goa) Water Resources Department minister Vinod Palyekar said that his statement on Mahadayi Water Tribunal Judges was by mistake and he is sorry for that.

Palyekar said that he didn’t mean to demean the position of Judges or the Court but wanted to say that Goa’s court before the tribunal is very strong.

“If I have said something in the flow of the speech then I am sorry. I uttered it by mistake. But whatever I said or I say is always in favour of Goa,” he clarified.

Palyekar during World water Day celebration had reportedly said that the judges of the tribunal has soft corner towards Goa.
