GOA:

The last day of Goafest 2018 started off on a green note when the crème-de-la-crème of the media & entertainment world decided to plant saplings for a greener tomorrow. Swati Mohan the Country Head for National Geographic in India, along with Vikram Sakhuja – President of The Advertising Club, Ashish Bhasin – Chairman of Goafest 2018 & VP of AAAI, Nakul Chopra – President of AAAI and Prasanth Kumar, CEO, South Asia, Mindhare headed out to the vertical green wall set up at the lawns before the sessions for the day started and together promised to leave Goa greener than before. Each dignitary took a seed pencil, which is an ecofriendly pencil with a seed capsule at the bottom, and planted them in individual pots with messages of ‘green-spiration’.

Goafest 2018, in partnership with National Geographic has taken up the cause for the environment seriously and planned a lot of green activities together. They are encouraging delegates to car pool, there’s a fun green credit score quiz which evaluates an individual’s carbon footprint based on their lifestyle. Every delegate has been given a seed  pencil to be planted at the vertical green wall and water sippers are being given as merchandise to encourage people to reduce the usage of plastic water bottles.

When you sow an idea, you grow a revolution by making this planet better, one seed at a time!
