“When poet doctors striked the chord of the heart”
Rupesh Studio Frames Pvt.Ltd led by Rupesh Halarnakar in association with Directorate of Art and Culture organized a Kavi Sammelan ‘Rx Kavita…..ek doctor ki kalam se’ on Sunday 8th April,2018 at Kala Academy Open Air Auditorium from 6.30 pm onwards. This unique Kavi Sammelan was specially put forth for medical fraternity where doctors from various discipline showcased their talent of creating and reciting their original work and enthral the audience. Poetries in Hindi, Marathi as well as Konkani will be recited at the event. Dr. Padmanabh Rataboli, Dr.Dayanand Rao, Dr.Rajesh Halarnakar, Dr. Renu Ramakant, Dr.Sanjay Pandharbale,Dr Radha Valaulikar,Dr Govindraj Dessai,Dr. Pravina Gaude, Dr. Manjusha Vengurlekar, Dr. Nikhil kamat recited their soulful, introspective as well as hilarious composition to set the mood of the audience present. It was surely an heart warming encounter where we saw the creative side of the medicos who are otherwise engaged in their serious routines of curing the sick and saving lives. Noted Konkani writer Dilip Borkar graced the occasion as the chief guest whereas Vithoba Mhalkar was the guest of honour. Poetry lovers from across the state thoroughly enjoyed the first of a kind kavi sammelan and departed with the hope that such programmes will be held much frequently in the future.
