Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd in association with Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt of India and TERI School of Advanced Studies, Delhi organised a 3-day training of senior and mid-level officials of Urban Local Bodies Parastatals and Smart City SPV on Urban Missions of Government of India.
Senior and mid-level officials from CCP, line departments like PWD, Electricity, Forest, GSUDA, Police, Health, EDC, GSIDC, etc participated actively in the said workshop.
The workshop is being conducted by TERI School of Advanced Studies which deals in delivering knowledge in sustainable development.
TERI officials MD. Rains Singh (CBUD Coordinator), Dr Bhavna Bali (CBUD coordinator TERI SAS) and MD. Ashwini Pai Panandikar has met faculties for the said programme.
Few key topics like Issues and Challenges in Urban Sector, Role of Urban Missions of Govt of India, Convergent and Integrated Planning, Water supply, Sanitation and green spaces and reforms under AMRUT, reuse of water, Swatchh Bharat Mission & its components, Sustainable Development Goals and sustainable City Concept, Introduction to Minister’s Awas Yojana and Addressing Climate Change in Urban planning Development are to be covered during the three days.
The participants will be given an overview of Smart City Mission, Smart Solutions and Smart City Concepts.
The workshop is aimed to build teamwork for successful implementation of the Hon Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream missions like AMRUT, SMART city Mission, Swatchh Bharat Mission, Swastha Bharat Mission, etc.
The workshop was inaugurated by Director IPSCDL and Chairman EDC Shri. Sidharth Kuncalienker in presence of CEO & MD of IPSCDL Shri. Swayandipta Pal Chaudhuri.
The workshop is held at Chandelier Hall, IPSCDL office, Old Secretariat, Dayanand Bandodkar Marg, Panaji, Goa. 403001.
