Panaji (Goa) Sports Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar has allayed fears about the pace at which infrastructure for upcoming National Games is being put up in the State.

Ajgaonkar said that the work is on the track for which the finance has already been allotted. “We will be hosting national games in November 2018 for which three grounds are being built,” he said.

The work for the construction of these grounds will begin after the orders are issued to the contractors who have won the bid. They will have to complete these groundswithin six months.

Ajgaonkar said that chief minister is personally monitoring the work on these projects.
