A planned annual shutdown has been arranged from 220/110/33/11 KV, 250 MVA substation at Xeldem in South Goa on May 12 between 7:00 am t0 2:00 pm in order to attend the pre-monsoon maintenance works on 220 KV, 110 KV and 33 KV lines. 

Therefore, there will be no power supply in the areas of Canacona, Rivona, Sanguem, Xelpem, Cuncolim, Quepem, Assolda, Xeldem, Sanvordem, Benaulim, Velim, Carmona, Verna industrial estate, Nessai, Shigao, Curchorem, Painguim and also to Salaulim water works at Xelpem and restricted power supply to Margao during the period of shutdown.
