Minister for Tribal Welfare Govind Gaude inaugurated South Goa office of Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation Ltd (GSSTFDCL) at Old Collectorate building today.

Chairperson of Goa Commission for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Prakash Velip, GSSTFDCL Chairman Durgadas Gaude, Tribal Welfare Director Venancio Furtado and GSSTFDCL Managing Director Sandhya Kamat were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Gaude said the Office at South Goa will reduce the hardships faced by the people from South Goa especially from Sanguem, Canacona, Quepem and Salcete in availing benefit of different schemes of the corporation.

“No government would be called successful unless the welfare scheme and facilities reach the public,” added Gaude.
