PANAJI:

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education declared the SSC results today. Overall 91.27% students cleared the exam. Altogether19,596 students appeared for the examination, and 17,886 students cleared it.

The exam was held from April 2 to 21 across 27 centres across the state.

Among boys, 88.69 per cent passed the exam, while 90.49 girls cleared the important test.

Four special schools recorded 100 per cent results, which included Porvorim centre of Sanjay School, two centres of Lokvishwas Prathisthan and St Xavier’s centre in Old Goa.

The Goa Board will conduct supplementary exam on June 15.
