Panchayat minister Mauvin Godinho today inaugurated new Panchayat Ghar comprising of community hall at Village Panchayat, Sarzora, in South Goa.

MLA and Chairman, Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation, Dipak Prabhu Pauskar; MLA Philip Neri Rodrigues; Sarpanch, V P Sarzora, Shabita Mascarenhas; Deputy Sarpanch, Leena Carvalho; Director, Directorate Panchayat, Ajit Panchwadkar; Deputy Director, Snehal Prabhu and Parish Priest, Sarzora Church, Fr Oswald D’souza, were present on the occasion.

The ground plus two storey building project is constructed through Deendayal Panchayat Raj Infrastructure Development scheme, work of which was undertaken through GSIDC.

Speaking on the occasion, Godinho said the work and duty of any government was to improve the quality of life by providing the citizens with improved infrastructure and facilities.
