MARGAO

 

The District Magistrate, South Goa, has restored the enforcement squads under The Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA) for effectively enforcing laws against the trade of illicit drug/cigarettes and other tobacco products in the entire South District.

 

 The reconstituted squads, taluka wise, will consist of Mamlatdar/Jt Mamlatdar, PSI/police personnel and Sanitary Inspector from the concerned jurisdiction and a Member of NGO.
