CM PARRIKAR EXTENDS GREETINGS ON THE EVE OF GOA STATEHOOD DAY

The Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday extended greetings to the people of the state on the eve of Goa Statehood Day.
 
In his message, the Chief Minister said,” May 30, is a very significant milestone in the glorious history of Goa, as it was on this day in 1987, Goa became a full-fledged State of Indian Union.”
 
“Since 1987, Goa has emerged as a dynamic and progressive State with a high level of socio-economic development, coupled with adequate infrastructural development in varied sectors. Let us resolve anew and put in efforts to reach new heights of progress in the years to come,” Parrikar said.
“I extend my warm greetings to the people of Goa on this special occasion,” the Chief Minister concluded.
