Goa Mining People’s Front (GMPF) had organised a public meeting at Usgao demanding immediate restart of mining activity in Goa. The meeting saw a huge turnout of people from the mining belt.
The GMPF has decided to stage dharna on Monday and have planned for morcha on the 1st day of Assembly Session. They have also warned government of further agitation if they fail to resolve the issue as early as possible.
