After numerous scams that unfolded in Goa Dairy, the milk farmers have questioned the price hike on fodder supplied to them. Farmers claim that Goa Dairy’s Cattle Feed Plant has been going in losses and that is the reason why Goa Dairy has hiked the price of fodder by Rs. 2.50 in order to show that the plant is running in profit.
The milk farmers have decided to stage hunger strike from June 7 demanding to reduce the price hike and inquiry into previous business deals.
