Tourism Minister and Pernem MLA Babu Azgaonkar has hinted of protest if Pernem locals are not given first preference for jobs at Mopa airport.

Speaking to media persons, Azgaonkar said that jobs at Mopa Airport should be made available to the locals especially the land losers at Mopa and then the locals of Pernem, Panchayat wise. “Employment is a critical issue and we have to make sure that our people are not deprived opportunitie,” said Azgaonkar.
