The members of HJS said that the Archbishop should also speak on the antisocial activities that are harming the social and cultural life of the people as well as he should express his views on crimes committed by foreign tourists coming to Goa who are involved in drugs and prostitution. 

Speaking at the 7th All India Hindu Convention at Ramnathi, Ponda, members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) claimed that Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrão’s statement “Constitution in Danger’ statement is made keeping in mind the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
