CONTEMPT PETITION FILED BY ACTIVIST KASHINATH SHETYE AGAINST CCP ON MAHARAJA CASINO OFFICE ISSUE

Social activist Kashinath Shetye has filed a contempt petition before the Bombay High Court at Goa against CCP commissioner Ajit Roy for violating the earlier orders of the court which had ordered the municipalities to keep footpaths clean. Shetye has highlighted the encroachment on the footpath by Maharaja Casino which has put up its office opposite Old Secretariat.

Shetye has attached various orders of the HC which had directed the municipalities to form special squad which will be accompanied by police to clear the footpaths.
