Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan teachers have staged a dharna outside secretariat to renew their contract. They said that their contract was due for renewal in June but has not been renewed.

The teachers also said that their salary is now cut down to Rs. 7000 which was Rs. 16000 until last year. 

Speaking to the reporters, the teachers said that they want the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) to look into the matter and come out with a solution.
