 The next edition of GTDC’s Monsoon Trekking Expedition will be conducted at Shivling, Sattari on July 22.

 

This trek takes you to a lesser known destination in Sattari with a walking stretch of 4 kilometres one way which promises to be easy and adventurous.

 

The trekking expedition is open to all.

 

Transport arrangements have been made from Mapusa and Margao at 7.30 a.m. and from Panaji at 8.30 a.m. Pick up arrangements from Old Goa, Banastari and Sakhali will also be available.     

 

Registration fee is Rs 800 (food inclusive).

 

Lunch will be prepared and served by the villagers. Interested trekkers are requested to carry along an extra pair of clothes, proper footwear or trekking shoes,  snacks and binoculars.  No smoking and consumption of alcohol will be permitted.
