JUNIOR RANKING BADMINTON– TRIPLE CROWNS FOR TANISHA, ARJUN, DOUBLE FOR AASHRUN, SUSHIL

Tanisha Crasto and Arjun Fallary won triple crowns while Aashrun Gautam and Sushil Nayak won double crowns each, at the All Goa Junior Major Ranking Badminton Championship organised by Sunny Sports Club in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and the Sports Authority of Goa.

In the finals contested at Indoor stadium, Campal, Aashrun won the Junior (U19) Boys Singles title while the U17 Boys singles title was won by Sushil Nayak. In the girls section, Tanisha Crasto, who has won 4 medals for Goa in the last one year, exhibited her class and superiority, winning both the Under 17 and Under 19 Girls singles titles. In the doubles events, Aashrun combined with Arjun Fallary to pocket the Under 19 Boys doubles title while Arjun and Sushil lifted the Under 17 Boys doubles title with a hard fought win in the finals. In Under 19 Girls doubles, the top seeded pair of Yasmin Sayed and Neha Sahakari emerged triumphant while  Arjun and Tanisha emerged victorious in the Under 19 Mixed doubles event.  Sunita Sawant, Dy Superintendent of Police,  Sandeep Heble, Secretary, Goa Badminton Association, Mr. Hilary Fernandes and Mr Darwin Barreto, Sports organisers, Mr. Luciano Saores, Tournament Director, and Tournament officials Roy Ataide and Pradosh Silimkhan graced the finals.
