Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardesai on Monday informed the State Legislative Assembly that around 1200 projects were approved between November 2011 to March 2012, even when there was model code of conduct in force.

 

Replying to a question raised by Congress MLA Digambar Kamat during Question Hour, Sardesai said, ”Regional Plan 2021 was notified in November 2011. We were elected in March 2012. Between November 2011 and March 2012, around 1200 projects were approved even when there was code of conduct.”
