A group of people today caught red-handed Uttam Kumar Bind a native of UP, trying to kidnap a minor girl at Vasco.

The incident occurred outside Bank of India ATM where victim’s father was in a queue to enter the ATM. After noticing that the girl’s father was distracted the accused tried to kidnap his minor daughter by pulling her hand. 

People rushed for the rescue and thrashed the accused and handed him over to Vasco police.

Speaking to reporters victim’s father said that the police should look seriously into this matter as there may be a bigger racket involved in this. 

Meanwhile, the accused has been handed over to the police and further procedure to register the offence is in progress.
