In the matter of anticipatory bail plea of the leader of opposition Babu Kavlekar in disproportionate assets case, Anti Corruption Branch on Monday sought permission from the special court to place on record the latest investigation report. 

Panaji special court adjourned the hearing for August 20 and allowed ACB to place on record the investigation report. The court also cleared that the arguments in the matter have to be completed within a week and no further permission will be granted to ACB to place on record anymore investigation report.

ACB has booked Babu Kavleker for buying properties in Kerala more than his known source of income.
