Q1. First of all many congratulations to you for winning the Audi Goa Rubaru Mister India2018title. How does it feel?
Answer:
Thank you so much for these warm wishes. It feels really great. It is nearly impossible to express in words. I am really happy that I won this very prestigious title and now I am looking forward to give my best at the international arena as well.

Q2. What was your reaction when the announced your name at the grand finale of the Audi Goa Rubaru Mister India 2018 pageant in Goa?
Answer:
That was one of the most memorable moments of my life. It was the moment that introduced a new chapter in my life. The moment they announced by name, for that very instant, it seemed like everything has stopped and I could literally hear my own heartbeat. I was filled with mixed emotions and was extremely excited and happy.

Q3. How does it feel to get associated and also becoming the face of India’s biggest and oldest surviving annual male pageant?
Answer:
I feel truly honoured and humbled to get associated with the organization which is regarded as one of the best pageant producers when it comes to male pageantry. It is indeed a matter of huge pride to win the oldest surviving annual male pageant in India. The platform that has produced various notable titleholders and seeing my name in that list feels really great. Over the years, Rubaru Group has been organizing this event and every year the most deserving candidates get the golden opportunity to represent India internationally. I feel blessed to be one of them now.

Q4. How has your journey been so far with the Rubaru Mister India Organization?
Answer:
The journey has been quite fascinating. I got the opportunity to interact with so many influential people; made great friends; learnt new things which perhaps I would have never learnt if I would not have joined the pageant and most importantly this journey bestowed me with this prestigious title of Audi Goa Rubaru Mister India 2018. I am really happy.

Q5. What are the responsibilities that come with this prestigious title and how hard it is to fulfil those responsibilities and also to live up to the expectations that have been set on you?
Answer:
Winning any beauty pageant itself makes you the face of the pageant and you somehow become the brand image of that organization. If we talk in terms of social context, Mr India is a title that gives you the opportunity and a platform to influence others and also to voice your choices and opinions. I believe in using this title to influence others in a positive way. Other than that there comes the huge and important responsibility of representing your nation while going for an international competition. When you go for an international competition, you get addressed by your country’s name most of the times and you have to be at your best during that time as you are not representing any organization or any brand or any group rather you are representing your nation. So, it is indeed a very challenging and serious role that every pageant winner must understand and keep in when she / he goes for an international event.

Q6. This year the Rubaru Mister India pageant and the Rubaru Group celebrated their fifteenth anniversary and you are the fifteenth Rubaru Mister India titleholder. How do you feel about that?
Answer:
I was really thrilled when I got to know that this year the pageant is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary. During the auditions, I was like, I need just one opportunity to prove myself and show my talent and finally I got that. It feels really great when I get addressed as the winner of fifteenth edition of Rubaru Mister India pageant. Since 2004, the pageant has produced 15 winners (including me) and to join the league amongst these other 14 very wonderful gentlemen is indeed a matter of huge pride and honour for me.

  1. What do you think are the qualities that are required to be a Mr India?
    Answer:
One needs to be a perfect gentleman if we could sum up everything in one word. Merely having good looks and a great body is not enough to be a Mr India. Personality plays a great role as well. Also, someone to whom a regular Indian guy could relate himself to as prior to winning the title that winner used to be a guy next door as well who worked hard to achieve his dreams to be a Mr India.

Q8. Your biggest support in life.
Answer:
My family.

Q9. Any quote of saying that has profound impact on you.
Answer:
If u can master your thoughts you can master your self- Bruce lee

Q10. Any message for your well-wishers and supporters who are reading this interview.
Answer:
Thank you so much for your love and support. This journey would have not been this great if you guys would not have been a part of it. So, thank you so much.
