Wesley Do Rosario and Mallika Gogoi walked tall, winning the Men’s and Ladies singles titles, at the All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis tournament 2018 organised by BPS Sports Club in collaboration with Goa Table Tennis Association, at BPS Hall premises, Margao.

In Mens singles, Wesley had all the answers against Dheeraj Rai while Mallika was in cruise control as she completed a win over Sukrit Das in the ladies section. It was a double delight for Wesley as he went on to win the Youth singles title defeating Rutuj Sonawane in the finals.  Sneha Rane beat Janvi Naik Dalal to win the Sub Junior Girls title while Nagesh Verenker ousted Anshuman Agarwal to emerge winner in the Sub Junior Boys category.

Sneha Rane who has been in fine form this season was denied her double crown after suffering an upset defeat to an upbeat Aditi Chodankar in Junior Girls finals. Meanwhile, Riya Gopi defeated Trisha Verlekar to wrest the mini cadets girls title while Khushal Naik accounted for Sidhant Parsekar in mini cadets Boys category. In cadet Girls, Trisha Verlekar edged past Simran Kubal to emerge victorious while Aaron Farias ousted Vivek Carvalho to win the cadets boys title. Shri Manohar Azgaonkar, Sports Minister, Mr. Santosh George, President – BPS Sports Club and Mr. Vishnu Kolwalkar, Secretary, Goa Table Tennis Association, graced the closing function.
