The Colva police on Tuesday arrested one Kumar Shreekrishna (25) a native of Bihar, for possession of narcotic substance.

 

After receiving a tip-off, the police went to Majorda junction railway station on Tuesday evening, where they held Shreekrishna and searched him. During the search, the police found 350g of drugs, in his possession, worth around Rs 70,000, said Colva police inspector Filomeno Costa.

 

Costa informed that Shreekrishna has been booked under section 20 (B) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act and further investigation is in progress.
